MEDICAL NEEDSThe General University Hospital in Prague has opened a new barrier-free MEDICAL SUPPLY DISPENSER for you. It offers a wide range of medical devices, professional consultations, and above all, enough time to choose a device that will be determined precisely for the individual needs of each client. The dispensary is located in the courtyard of Faust's house on Charles Square. In the newly renovated space of a beautiful historic house, clients will find a pleasant environment, where they will also have the option of discretely trying out a number of tools in spacious booths or also the possibility of using the delivery service.

The delivery of medical devices to the designated address (hereinafter referred to as "delivery") is arranged for outpatients by the VFN Hospital Pharmacy, Department of Dispensing Medical Devices (Medical Supplies) for the Public (OVZP) (hereinafter referred to as the "Dispensary"). It is possible to arrange the delivery of a shipment of medical equipment in person directly on the premises of the Dispensary.
Delivery of medical devices means the delivery of a standard assortment kept in stock, or additional material supplied by distributors of medical devices directly to patients at home.
Delivery only applies to funds that are fully covered by health insurance companies. The medical device is issued on the basis of a paper or electronic voucher. The voucher can be redeemed within 30 days of its issuance, unless the prescriber specifies otherwise, but within 1 year at the latest.
Transport is provided by PPL. If the client cannot be reached at the delivery address, the shipment is stored in the nearest storage box, or nearest delivery point and the addressee is informed by SMS message or e-mail.
Shipments are sent in the shortest possible time, according to logistical possibilities, usually within 72 hours of receiving the request. The addressee is notified of the delivery of the shipment in the form of an SMS message. If it is not possible to deliver the shipment in the above-mentioned time, the addressee will be informed of this fact immediately, as well as the reasons for which the delivery cannot be made, or the addressee will be informed that the delivery will be made in a longer delivery period, including information about the length of this period .
Delivery costs are covered by VFN Praha, the returned shipment cannot be processed repeatedly. In the same way, it is not possible to request that another medical device or medicinal product, or another product in the VFN Hospital Pharmacy range, be sent along with the relevant medical device.
Complaints are covered by the Complaints Procedure of the VFN Hospital Pharmacy. It is possible to return claimed medical devices that have been delivered in person at the Dispensary or through the PPL company.
