Pain, fever

Recommended regime measures:

  • increase fluid intake,
  • drink ginger products intended for pregnant women,
  • keep calm in bed,
  • at a temperature higher than 38 ° C see a doctor.

Therapy

Pregnancy:

  • paracetamol - in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester, use only for a short time, the maximum daily dose is 2-3 g.
  • ibuprofen - should not be used during pregnancy, do not use it at all in the 3rd trimester.

Breast feeding:

  • paracetamol - breast-feeding does not need to be interrupted in case of short-term use and in compliance with the recommended dose.
  • ibuprofen - Ibuprofen and its metabolites pass into breast milk only in extremely low concentrations. Because the amount of ibuprofen in breast milk is minimal, its elimination half-life is short and no adverse effects have been reported in breast-fed infants, ibuprofen is considered to be first-line treatment for the pain and symptoms of inflammation in breast-feeding mothers, especially with short-term use. Safety in long-term administration has not been established.
