Employees of the hospital pharmacy VFN participated in the activities of a large-capacity vaccination center, which was newly opened in mid-December in the Kotva department store on Náměstí Republiky.
This is a very demanding activity - diluting up to 900 doses of vaccines per day (some busy days up to 2,000). Skill and dilution experience are required. This is because the diluent significantly affects the speed of the entire vaccination process and is fully responsible for the correct preparation / preparation of the vaccine and the accuracy of each dose.
The reason for the establishment of the vaccination center was primarily the requirement to increase the vaccination capacity for the third dose and the related shortening of the validity of the certificates. The vaccination center is open from 9 am to 8 pm and can be found on the 4th floor of the Kotva department store in the center of Prague. It is vaccinated with the Comirnaty vaccine from Pfizer and is accepted without prior reservation. Online registration is not a prerequisite, it will only speed up the passage.
Healthcare professionals vaccinate people over the age of 16 daily, as well as foreigners and self-payers without public health insurance. Payment is only possible by credit card.
